40 fuel gauge wiring diagram chevy
Hello everybody. I am looking for a wiring diagram for the battery cables. I've recently changed out the battery in my truck going from a top post to side post battery. In the process of doing that I had to change out some wires. After everything was back together the truck still does not have power. Edit: the motor is a 5.7 350. I have checked the battery and it has a charge, and the starter is not the issue. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all. In the last week or so, random problems that I believe to be electrical have popped up, including the failing of the Odometer and Speedometer. Yesterday, After driving around 30 miles or so, I parked for an hour and a half and it would not start again, instead I could hear what I believe is the flywheel clicking, but the engine would not crank. I tested the battery voltage last week and it seemed fine, and ran my OBD battery test which said the battery is good today. The only codes coming back ...
I am working on a project 1976 El Camino and I can't find the fuel gauge wire where it meets the fuel tank, it was already cut before I got it but I don't think it was completely taken out. Where would the wire come into the area where the tank is? Any links to pictures would be highly appreciated, thanks in advance

Fuel gauge wiring diagram chevy
I recently got my truck running but the ignition switch doesn't work anymore, and theres some messed up wiring for oil pressure, turn signals and I'm assuming other stuff. Somehow it's isolated to the gauges and ignition system, fan and other lights work as normal. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the fuel pump on a 2017 6.7? After a lot of googlefication all I can find is for 7.3, 6.0, and 6.2. I’m installing a kill switch run to an upfitter switch in the cab for theft prevention. So the fuel and water temp gauge in my dash has burned out (not fixable) and buying a replacement one isn't an option. I wired and set up a water temp gauge, but to wire a fuel gauge it needs to be connected to the sending unit, the sending unit has 3 wires coming out of it, so I'm not sure what one to connect it to. I measured the resistance and all showed different readings. Any help, anyone ever do this?
Fuel gauge wiring diagram chevy. So guys, I know my Chevy has issues with the fuel gauge. When I fill it up, it only shows 3/4. That’s with any type of fuel in the states. Now here is the weird thing that I need answered…. I’m stationed in Germany and I brought this car over and when I fill it up with German fuel (Super E10) it goes all the way to “F” every single time. Someone explain why this is please 😅 Hi, I'm trying to put a Killswitch to my fuel system and am having issues locating any diagrams for wiring involving the fuel pump. We tried splicing the wire directly at the pump. But how the grounds are we weren't successful in getting it to work on a toggle. I tried locating my relay and it simply isn't where it's supposed to be underneath the dash. And I have no earthly idea where the fuse for it is. Any help appreciated! I had a full tank when I went in but it's telling me I only have 150 mi. How can I reset this? two solid black wires, use the thinner gauge wire. Tan w/ Black Stripe. Black w/ Green Stripe. Hi everyone, Recently picked up a 1990 240sx hatch that has a CA18DET swapped in. The car is in good shape but electrical is a basket case and the previous owner did not do the swap and admits knowing very little about the wiring. Essentially only the temp gauge, indicator symbols, and the little warning lights work on my gauge. I have no speedo or tach, battery, or gas showing. I believe they had to use the CA18DET engine harness wiring spliced into the OEM wiring. I was looking at diagram...
